Highly Recommended! Excellent food, generous portions, fresh ingredients.
Passed through town looking for a good sandwich place. Stopped at Haz Beans because it looked promising. The staff and atmosphere were wonderful and the food was excellent. A yummy, fresh chocolate chip cookie was included with each meal. -

The coffee: I got a vanilla latte and it was good. It was a more bitter espresso which isn't my favorite but it was smooth so that made it more enjoyable. Unless you're a die hard coffee/espresso person I'd recommend atleast getting some flavor in it to balance it out.
The food: We tried the blueberry bagel with cream cheese and a cinnamon raisin bagel with maple cream cheese. The blueberry bagel with cream cheese was really good. I love cinnamon and raisin bagels and I was really hoping to like the maple cream cheese more than I did. It was warm because of the maple syrup I'm assuming. It would have been 1000x better if it was pre-mixed and the chilled because it would be more like cream cheese. The flavor of it was delicious and I love maple, I just wish it would have been chilled and it would have been perfect. You can't beat PA maple, they do it right!
Setting: The only complaint is seating. Its not very welcoming or comfy furniture so that was a little unfortunate but it definitely didn't pull away from the neatness of it. They have a tea wall, homemade candies and their coffee for sale which was really cool. If you're a tea fanatic, this is your place for sure!!! The staff is extremely friendly and kind as well. Definitely get a "at home" vibe from the workers, it was two older women there when we went.
I would go back and enjoy the blueberry bagel next time :) -

Dropped in with a friend to have some coffee in the afternoon. I had already eaten, but she had a chicken salad sandwich on a crossient she really liked. I had iced coffee with Irish cream and Hazelnut flavoring. Yummy, not too sweet. Enjoyed talking to the barrista as I was visiting the area and she was personable. The only reason they are missing a star is because the parking can be challenging. You have to park on the street or be prepared to walk.

Love my veggie sandwich and the delicious hibiscus tea. Great lunch treat!
I just wish, they can have later hours, maybe during weekends.
Nice spot to hold cool events.
